In need of a virus scanner?

Avast is a great prevent and is free but uses a lot of system resources and the scanner is slow.. I use Avast! along with spybot search and destroy (install the tea timer) both are free and I download all the time and have yet to get a virus...if you are paying for one. norton's newest got the best rating..
