Car accident...police report, please help me.?

Your parents won't help with this? This is a little more than a 16-year-old kid can be expected to handle. First of all, I don't see how a police report has not already been filed--by the police, since it was an accident with injuries. Is it that the police are waiting for you to give them a statement of what happened, since you were injured and not in any condition to give a statement immediately following the accident? If so, this is a good reason to get an attorney. If it hasn't happened yet, you are probably going to get hit with a bill for the damage you caused to the fence, sign, and guardrail. This is another reason to hire an attorney. He or she might be able to mitigate your liability for damages. The third reason to hire an attorney is that there are probably avenues in your jurisdiction for you to complete some sort of driving school--and you may have to pay restitution for the damage you caused, but what you might get in exchange is a reduction in the charges against you and the ability to keep your license. In summary, you really need an attorney to help you lessen your exposure to serious consequences, lessen the amount of restitution, and increase your chances of keeping your drivers license. Attorneys aren't cheap, but in this case, it sounds like it could be worth the expense.
