I am writing a book and am a little stuck. looking for constructive criticism.?

Plot- Vampires. Vampires exist and they are being hunted by human beings, as they have been ever since we learned of their existence. With progress in modern technology humans are the closest we have ever been to extinguishing them. The vampires, close to extinction are getting desperate. They know they have to do something to stop the humans from killing them off once and for all. In an attempt to gain some leverage in the never ending war with the humans they capture the daughter of the most powerful vampire hunter in North America. Marcus Cambell’s daughter Danielle (Danni) is kidnapped by a vampire (Gabriel) with a troubled past who wants no part in the war against humans. All he wants to do is to spend the rest of eternity alone. But alas he has orders that he has no choice but to obey. Danni is on her way to Vancouver to stay with her mother for the summer. When she is captured, she wakes up in a dark room besides not being able to see she is horrified when she discovers her legs and feet have been bound. She can’t move or see anything. While trying her best not to panic she attempts to get out of the bed she woke up in moving cautiously and somewhat awkwardly because or her restraints, she tries to find a way out of where ever she is. Aware of the fact that whoever brought her there could still be close by. Making her way slowly but steadily across the room, trying in vain to see her surroundings when she stumbles and falls. Cursing softly under her breathe she tries to get up and holds back tears of frustration and fear when she discovers she cannot get up. Suddenly the dark room is filled with blindingly bright light, after the darkness of the before, Danni shuts her eyes against the painful light. She feels arms around her waist as someone swiftly picks her up and she is thrown over someone’s shoulder. She begins to kick and struggle against whoever is carrying her. She starts to scream and curse with so much anger in her voice that the person carrying her pauses. But only for a moment then continues to carry her back across the room and sets her down on the bed which she originally escaped from. Danni, still fighting, tries to roll out of the bed before her capture can stop her. Suddenly her captor grasps her wrist and pulls her up until she is dangling a few inches off the ground. Surprised and even angrier she stares her captor in the face in order to spit in his face. She is startled by what she sees. He is not what she expected for a man who has knocked her out, kidnapped her, and tied her up.
