Theres a program that was on toonami that i cannot remember the name of it was like gundam wing?

i remember when i was young there was an anime program on toonami .god bless. or something like that it was like gundam wing but it was like old fashioned so the did not have lasers or any thing they had swords and stuff it was like a medieval gundam wing and i cannot remember the name the also had air ships i remember it being really gory so any anime fans should know what its called and the series should discontinued it kinda old it was aired about late 90s 2000 please answer its driving me crazy i need to know the name of this program
