Traveling to Philliphines in March 2011?

i'll be going sometime in feb. mar.but i will be flying into cebu, i try to avoid manila! but i have flown to manila before alone,my advise is to be certain about the integrity of the woman your going to meet,international flights always land in manila late at night and the airport isn't a good place for a foreigner to be wandering around,send her some money so she can rent you a hotel room beforehand and meet you at the airport,also have a backup plan in case she doesn't show!,its not a big deal,just be careful,i'd rather be in manila alone in the middle of the night than in most big u.s. cities
